The WAT-AAH! Boy – Part 2
Are you guys ready for part 2! Okay! So….
One day later, he says: “Son, I heard from your agent again, and I was wrong, you didn’t actually get the job… they’re only thinking of you doing the job, and meant to put you on hold.” I was sad. “Are you sure?” I said. Dad nodded. Then I said goodnight and went to bed.
The next day when I came home from school, my dad came over with a bound in his step. “I have some good news…. this time you really got the job!” Dad said. “Yes!” I yelled. I was so happy.
A couple of days later I went in for the job. It was in a place called: “The Sound Lounge.” There, I met three people. There were two men and one lady. They were really nice, and treated me like a star.
They told me how to say my lines and what to do. They said I did a great job and asked me how many voice-overs I have done. I can’t lie; I told them this was my first one ever. They were so surprised – you should have seen their faces!
In total, I did six scripts and 55 takes! They were all about WAT-AAH!, but also about different things: art, spelling, soccer, pushups, dancing and double-jointed people.
It was really fun, and I told my dad I would have done it for free.

The WAT-AAH! Boy – Part 1
Hey Rencel & Arcel!
This might answer one of your questions:
Just the other day I went on an audition for a product called “WAT-AAH!” It’s bottled water specially made for kids.
When I got there, some guy gave me a bunch of scripts and told me to practice #3 and #6. It was a long wait for me while other kids went in for their auditions, so I practiced them over and over and over and over and over. I even had to memorize how to spell A-N-T-I-D-I-S-E-S-T-A-B-L-I-S-H-M-E-N-T-A-R-I-A-N-I-S-M, and that’s the longest word in the English language.
Then the guy came back out and told me it was my turn but they changed their mind and I’d be doing script #2 and #4 instead. Oh boy, I already memorized ANTIDISESTABLISHMENTARIANISM FOR GOSH SAKES!!!!! But I just said, “Why, of course.” Then they let me practice the new scripts for maybe TWO minutes.
After that, they put me in a sound tight box-room, with a big microphone. Then, through a window they told me with hand gestures to put on a headset. So I did. No more hand gesture, now I could hear them. This was my first try at voice-overs. They instructed me to read the new scripts I had practiced. I did a pretty good job.
Later, dad gets a call from my agent and with a big smile on his face, he tells me: “You got the job son! Congrats!”
One day later, he says: “Son, I heard from your agent again, and I was wrong, you didn’t actually get the job…
STAY TUNED FOR PART TWO!

Happy belated New Year!
I had a fun, lazy holiday, and I even got a new iPod. But now that we’ve had some snow, it’s time to get back to work.
What kind of work?
Building snow forts, then ganging up on dad with Rafi and pelting him with snowballs. Oh yeah, also schoolwork, some cool auditions and training for a karate tournament in Boston.
We both hope everyone has a great year!
